The post is showing up funny, so I am reposting it.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Serenity Night in November, it was a blast.

Will –

Fox, like other studios, finds themselves in need of often swift action to deal with licensing and availability. Unfortunately, this involves not just the rights on Buffy but all TV shows. As of this writing, we have been told that Criterion is not authorized to license any TV Shows (please refer to Fox in Flight for the scope of this withdrawl) at this time. Because this is a different medium, there are questions regarding licensing, especially in theatrical settings.

Will, I’ve already heard from four people in the area fan base. Seemingly, there is no remedy that approaches the presentation you’ve set up. Although I understand that the original pales compared to the complexity of the series, can I ask you to consider screening the Buffy movie for which we have our normal rights?

Of course, we will submit a request for a refund of the $425 sent to Criterion for the upcoming Buffy shows. The refund process will be initiated today

Please accept my apologies for this difficult situation. I hope to provide whatever possibility available to help with your programming needs

Sorry kids.
As of right now Parkway Whedon is canceled.

Thanks to Fox we can't show the tv shows on the big screen.
I'll update more later, but I am kind of sad and tired.

October-Spooky Buffy Night!!

It's October, and no month more fitting for our favorite slayer and her pals.
This month, we'll have a Halloween, spooky type double feature!

Thursday- October 18th!

We'll start with our sing a long- Once More With Feeling-

Don't forget your bunnies!

Then we'll start with the spooky. Its a bit early in the month but to get in the spirit of things we'll be watching Halloween-

And what would a creepy Halloween scare ourselves silly night be without Hush?

August Buffy Night! Thrusday the 23rd!

Wow. The months just keep rolling along don't they!?
A HUGE thank you to everyone for singing me Happy Birthday last month! You all embarrassed the heck out of me, but it was truly awesome.
*Grin*
I honestly can think of very few things (I mean, I can think of some) that could be better than getting to spend my birthday watching Firefly.

Anyhow! Onwards we go to our next showing- Buffy! YAY!
Having the sub-titles/ Words to the songs worked out so well, that I think we are going to do that from now on.
And Come ON! You guys have got to belt it out! I am sure that if you listen you can hear my caterwauling from the front- I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but I sing my little heart out.

Our double feature this month is Double Features- with Doppelgangland and The Replacement.

One last thing, I need suggestions for our Spook-tacular (couldn't help it) October Buffy night.

July is a Firefly month- and we'll be showing the next three episodes:
Ariel, War Stories and Trash

Last night had to be the absolute best crowd we've had for OMWF!
Lots of cheers and jeers (For poor Dawnie) and I believe that the subtitles were a total hit. We'll do that again next time for sure.

Don't forget that next month is Firefly! See you all then.

Its Buffy night!!! Tonight is Learn the Words Night...We'll start out with Once More With Feeling as usual, but tonight we'll have the subtitles to help everyone sing a long!

Then we'll have an Alternate Universe Double Feature with "The Wish" and "Superstar"!

The Parkway has loads of tasty food and popcorn, plus good beer on tap!

Dont forget that the Parkway is a 21 and up theater.
